What mattress is better than Saatva?
Founded in 2010, Saatva specializes in direct-to-consumer luxury mattresses under three brand names: Saatva, Loom & Leaf, and Zenhaven. Pocketed coils provide the Saatva Classic an excellent quantity of bounce near the top, and a plush top includes softness. As with all of the Saatva Business’s bed mattress, the Saatva Classic is delivered by movers, rather than in a box.

People who are quickly woken up when their partner stirs might find the Saatva transfers more motion than ideal People who like the hug of memory foam might not feel the Saatva adheres closely adequate The Saatva’s convenience system uses thinner layers of foam than lots of hybrid designs. While all of the Saatva firmness alternatives have pressure-relieving potential, the quantity of pressure relief that a specific experiences on the mattress will differ based partially on their weight and sleep position. People who weigh under 130 pounds will likely experience the most push relief on the Plush Soft version of the mattress, while sleepers over 230 pounds will likely get the best balance of contouring and assistance from the Company variation.
Note: Saatva recently upgraded the Zenhaven, changing the kind of latex used in its foam layers. The Zenhaven now includes Dunlop latex, instead of Talalay latex; find out more about the differences below. We plan to test the new version soon and will upgrade this guide with our impressions.
The Zenhaven is also flippable (the High-end Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Gentle Company side feels a bit firmer), which might prove useful if you’re not sure what you choose or if your requirements change over time. This is not a conventionally cushy bed mattress, but it offers a supple cushion, excellent edge support, and a subtle springiness.

Understanding Saatva Saatva’s portfolio of beds– many with a choice of firmness levels and dealing with almost every convenience preference– consists of: Saatva Classic ( innerspring).
Loom & Leaf ( all foam).
Zenhaven ( all latex).
Saatva Latex Hybrid ( latex with coils).
Solaire ( a bed with adjustable air chambers). Suite Dreams Nxt Mattress
Saatva HD ( a latex-coil hybrid developed for sleepers who weigh 300 to 500 pounds).
Saatva Youth ( a foam-coil hybrid for kids ages 3 through 12).
We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environment-friendly” brands. However we do understand that the company uses thistle pulp or organic wool as a flame retardant (rather than chemicals or fiberglass) and only organic cotton (instead of artificial blends) in its covers. As do other online mattress business, Saatva promotes such extras as zoned layers for “ideal spinal column support”; we’re less impressed with those features and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer support and durable foams and coils.
