What mattress is better than Saatva?
Founded in 2010, Saatva specializes in direct-to-consumer luxury bed mattress under 3 brand name names: Saatva, Loom & Leaf, and Zenhaven. Pocketed coils give the Saatva Classic a good amount of bounce near the top, and a luxurious top includes softness. As with all of the Saatva Business’s bed mattress, the Saatva Classic is provided by movers, rather than in a box.

Note: Saatva recently updated the Zenhaven, altering the kind of latex utilized in its foam layers. The Zenhaven now includes Dunlop latex, instead of Talalay latex; learn more about the distinctions listed below. We plan to check the brand-new version quickly and will update this guide with our impressions.
The Zenhaven is also flippable (the High-end Plush side feels medium-firm, while the Mild Company side feels a bit firmer), which may prove useful if you’re not sure what you choose or if your needs alter over time. We haven’t yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “environment-friendly” brand names. However we do understand that the company uses thistle pulp or organic wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to fiberglass or chemicals) and only organic cotton (instead of synthetic blends) in its covers. As do other online mattress companies, Saatva touts such additionals as zoned layers for “ideal spinal column assistance”; we’re less amazed with those functions and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive client service and long lasting foams and coils.
