What mattress is better than Saatva?
Founded in 2010, Saatva specializes in direct-to-consumer high-end mattresses under three brand names: Saatva, Loom & Leaf, and Zenhaven. Pocketed coils give the Saatva Classic a good quantity of bounce near the top, and a luxurious top includes softness. As with all of the Saatva Company’s mattresses, the Saatva Classic is delivered by movers, rather than in a box.

The Saatva’s comfort system uses thinner layers of foam than lots of hybrid models. These thinner layers of foam integrated with the Euro-top’s fiber fill absorb some movement, reducing how much motion is felt throughout the surface of the bed. Sleepers might still experience some motion transfer when their partner modifications position or gets up throughout the night due to the mattress’s 2 layers of springs.Thanks to its softer feel, the Plush Soft version of the Saatva takes in a little more movement than the Luxury Company and Firm options.While all of the Saatva firmness options have pressure-relieving capacity, the amount of pressure relief that a specific experiences on the bed mattress will vary based partly on their weight and sleep position. People who weigh under 130 pounds will likely experience the most press relief on the Plush Soft variation of the mattress, while sleepers over 230 pounds will likely get the very best balance of contouring and support from the Company variation.
Note: Saatva recently updated the Zenhaven, altering the kind of latex used in its foam layers. We have not yet done a deep dive into the “natural” claims of Saatva or of other “eco-friendly” brands. We do understand that the company uses thistle pulp or natural wool as a flame retardant (as opposed to chemicals or fiberglass) and just organic cotton (instead of synthetic blends) in its covers. As do other online bed mattress companies, Saatva promotes such extras as zoned layers for “ideal spinal column assistance”; we’re less satisfied with those features and more appreciative of Saatva’s responsive customer service and durable foams and coils.
